Terms Of Service
Last updated November 3, 2026
1. The Service
Sandstone provides a subscription workspace for lobbying and government affairs firms to track legislation, hearings, public agendas and related information, and to share reports with their clients through private portals (the "Service"). These terms apply to the firm that signs up (the "Firm") and every person the Firm invites.
2. Accounts And Seats
The Firm's administrator is responsible for the people the Firm invites and for keeping sign-in credentials secure. Each plan includes a number of firm seats. Client portal users invited by the Firm do not count as seats. The Firm must not share a seat among several people.
3. Membership And Billing
Memberships are billed monthly in advance at the price of the selected plan. The Firm may change plans or cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are not refunded except where required by law.
4. Public Information
Legislative, agenda and official information in the Service comes from public sources such as the Nevada Legislature and government agency websites. Sources can change, post late or contain errors. Sandstone works to keep information current and accurate but does not guarantee it, and the Firm should confirm important details against the official source before relying on them. Sandstone is not affiliated with the Nevada Legislature or any government agency.
5. Firm Data
The Firm owns the information it adds to the Service, including client lists, tags, notes, memos and files ("Firm Data"). Sandstone uses Firm Data only to provide and support the Service for the Firm, keeps each firm's data in a separate workspace, and does not sell Firm Data. On cancellation, the Firm may request an export of its Firm Data within 30 days.
6. Acceptable Use
The Firm will not use the Service to break the law, to access another firm's workspace, to interfere with the Service, or to upload content it has no right to share.
7. Availability And Changes
Sandstone may update the Service and these terms. Material changes to these terms will be communicated to the Firm's administrator before they take effect.
8. Limitation Of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Sandstone is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and its total liability for any claim is limited to the fees the Firm paid in the three months before the claim.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada.
